Cornish Kayaking is a friendly local business providing great quality kayak trips. It has grown from of a love of the Camel estuary, from the open ocean to the picturesque towns and villages and rolling hills of the estuary, and of sharing great experiences and adventures with others. Our guides are experienced kayakers and are knowledgeable of how the tide, wind and swell affect the variety of possible routes that we can explore around Rock and Padstow or up river towards Wadebridge. Explore deserted beaches, paddle beside the camel trail, enter woodland creeks, surf the doom bar! We cater our trips to match our groups and the conditions.

We are based next to the Camel estuary on the amazing Dinham Farm Campsite where you can enjoy wide open spaces for a good game of rounders. Enjoy a campfire under the stars, weather permitting. Our base is a converted shipping container where we will meet and greet you and get you kitted up for your adventure.

Henry

Henry loves working in the outdoors and has done so for many seasons. He has been paddling on the Camel estuary since he was a nipper in Polzeath Surf Life Saving Club. He has extensive local knowledge and is skilled at navigating the estuary and sea thanks to his surf ski, boating and sailing background.  This has given him an extensive knowledge of the tides, winds and swells which is key to keeping your adventure safe and fun. Henry always aims to give you the best possible time out on the water.

Charlie

Charlie joined us at Cornish Coasteering when he was studying Outdoor Education at Plymouth University a couple of years back. He is good at backflips! Whilst paddling in the mountains he qualified as a white water kayaker. A seasonaire in Whistler in the winter, we are hoping he'll stay on the team for further seasons as we add more Cornish adventure activities.
